Now let's be serious here....I wouldn't really consider myself a runner, more of a jogger really, but I thought this quote was fitting of the day. I did set MY alarm last night, so I wouldn't have any excuse not to get up this morning...and I did in fact get up (@ 5:30) to do my 3 miles. I got up, got dressed, walked out the door and the wind was blowing like 30 mph. I walked to the end of the driveway and thought "no way" and I have to admit I walked back up the driveway (my bed was so warm and my daughter was sleeping there and we could have cuddled for another hour...SO tempting). But I am proud to say I turned back around and did the workout. I mean I WAS already out the door....and guess what? It wasn't that bad (other than I was a sweaty, out of breath, red faced mess when I finished:)). I guess my point is that there really is something to the whole first step is the hardest thing and when I was finished I was happy I had done it.
I'm freaking out already a little bit about tomorrow. I've decided Fridays are going to be weigh in days. That in its self isn't freaking me out, but I think I'm going to post the dreaded before picture (super scary thought to know that those horrible pictures will be out there for everyone see!). I've decided that it's going to be motivating (that's what I'm telling myself at least!).
